Terrie Dempster

Terrie Dempster has been teaching yoga for many years, and her practice continues to evolve. Her work is grounded in breath, intention, and thoughtful movement. She first trained in Australia and later deepened her studies in India. Over time, what began as a strong, physically focused practice has become something more reflective and purposeful—where awareness and meaning guide how she moves and teaches.

In her classes, breath leads the way. Terrie offers clear guidance while encouraging students to listen to their own bodies and move with respect and curiosity. Alongside her yoga training, she is also a history teacher and has always been drawn to the philosophy and stories that sit behind the practice. She gently weaves myth—including the qualities of Hanuman, such as devotion, courage, and service—into her classes in ways that feel grounded, accessible, and real.
