Jodie Marlow’s journey into yoga and Ayurveda began not with the intention of teaching, but through her own search for healing.
In 2016, she was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, an autoimmune disease that brought chronic pain, inflammation, repeated episodes of iritis, and significant spinal damage. Following numerous specialist appointments, ongoing steroid treatment, and a hospital stay after temporarily losing sensation from the waist down, Jodie realised she wanted more than symptom management—she wanted to understand the root cause of her condition and support her body in healing.
That search led her to yoga.
Driven by a desire to heal, Jodie immersed herself in studies including Ashtanga Yoga, Yin Therapy, Yoga Nidra, Traditional Chinese Medicine Yoga, Embodied Flow, trauma-informed practices, and eventually Ayurveda. These ancient teachings transformed not only her understanding of health but also her relationship with her body.
By learning to work with her unique constitution rather than against it, Jodie experienced a remarkable shift. The inflammation eased, the flare-ups disappeared, and she has now been symptom-free for over five years.
Today, Jodie is passionate about sharing the practices that changed her life. Through yoga, Ayurveda, breathwork, and mindful living, she creates nurturing spaces where people can reconnect with themselves, better understand their bodies, and cultivate lasting wellbeing.
She believes that healing begins when we stop fighting our bodies and start listening to their wisdom.
