Annie is an experienced mental health practitioner and group facilitator (B.ED HONS, BSW HONS, M.ED La Trobe University, AASW). She has over 10 years of working in mental health with Beyond Blue and in her own private counseling practice, specialising in anxiety, depression and trauma management. Her work has taken her overseas working in humanitarian contexts such as Sudan, East Timor, Indonesia and parts of South East Asia as a staff counselor and child protection specialist for the UN and other NGO’s.
Annie has a Diploma of Raja Yoga (School of Santhi India) and qualifications in Vinyasa Flow (Yoga Trinity) and teaches yoga in Bendigo Victoria.
Annie’s style is unique and no class is the same. In her classes, Annie blends her learning’s from Raja Yoga and Vinyasa Flow, taking students through not just movement but a discovery of the meaning of asana through a mix of mythology, story telling and metaphor.
Gina’s Yoga journey began in the late 80s as a student and she has been teaching since 2009. Over her years of practice she discovered that there is no one style that best suits her body all the time and it is this philosophy that she brings to her teaching, giving her students the benefit of her combined influences to discover how best to work with their own body and mind to achieve their lifestyle goals.
Gina has an Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching through the Academy of Yoga Learning, a Graduate Certificate in Yoga Therapy through the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy and is an iRest® Yoga Nidra Level II teacher in train ing (currently undertaking Certification). She is on the faculty of the Academy of Yoga Learning and Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy. She has also undertaken studies with Indian teachers AG and Indra Mohan.
Gina is a registered level II Yoga Australia member and has served on the Yoga Australia Victorian Committee. She is continually studying and practicing Yoga and is currently inspired by Leigh Blashki, Paul Wooden and Richard Miller.
Sarah teaches the practice of Ayurveda Yoga. Her classes provide a therapeutic approach to the teachings of Yoga by working with the individual to retain health for mind, body and spirit. Sarah is the course owner of the newly accredited Diploma of Ayurveda Yoga Teaching offering a Yoga Teacher Training course based on the philosophies and practices of Ayurveda.
A qualified chef, yoga teacher, teacher, counsellor and ayurveda consultant, Sarah brings over 20 years experience in food and health to help others restore health naturally teaching regular yoga classes, providing lectures in ayurveda and personal consultations in yoga and ayurveda therapy. Her work has led her to practice in New Zealand and India under the guidance of senior Ayurveda and Yoga Teachers.

Donna’s speciality Deep Rest Yoga is the ultimate gift of relaxation and deep stillness, and can be used for those times when you feel weak, fatigued, or stressed from lifes demands or to maintain a calm and relaxed state of being.
A Deep Rest practice consists of yoga poses, pranayama, breath awareness exercises and mudras.

Nina has been studying various styles of yoga and mindfulness since 1995. She was a slow starter in yoga, but her hectic work and challenges of modern life led her to seek a more natural way of living and inner balance. In 2016, she completed the ‘Train the Trainer in Mindfulness’ course with Assoc. Prof. Craig Hassed at Monash University. In 2009, she studied with Master Teacher Nicky Knoff, in Australia, and graduated as an intermediate level Certified Yoga Teacher from the Knoff Yoga School and the International Yoga Alliance (RYT200).
Peta first began dabbling with yoga in 2011. As a writing student with a tendency to disappear into her head, Peta discovered that yoga could bring her back down to earth and back into her own body – an experience that truly surprised and astounded her. The opportunity to be truly present and alive in each moment saw Peta turn to yoga as a regular grounding practice.
Due to having hypermobile joints, Peta has developed a passion for body awareness, alignment and containment. Peta loves teaching and hopes to aid students in developing mindfulness both on and off the mat. She is currently undertaking the Diploma of Yoga Teaching through the Academy of Yoga Learning and in 2015 completed her Yin Yoga Teacher Training through Yoga213. She is a registered level I Yoga Australia member.
In 2016, Claire completed her Diploma of Yoga Teaching through The Academy of Yoga Learning in Melbourne. She has also trained in Yin Yoga, completing teacher trainings with Hugh Lee through Yoga213 and in Yin and mindfulness with Tina Nance at the School of Sacred Arts in Bali. She infuses this with her training and career in Nursing to bring about body awareness and a gentle and nurturing teaching style. She is a registered level I Yoga Australia member.
Nardine trained with Vitality Yoga in 2010 and has been sharing her love of yoga with students ever since. Nardine is also a trained Body Balance Instructor.
A member of Yoga Australia, she has studied in Vinyasa Flow, Fit/Dynamic, Yin and Children’s Yoga and continues to deepen her knowledge and self enquiry through her own daily practice. Nardine shares her alignment based and breath centred practice with others enabling the simple joys and benefits of yoga along with the body awareness and understanding that comes from experiencing their own practice.

Jacqui Bohuslav-Andrews, a yoga teacher of nearly 20 years, originally studied hatha yoga at Melbourne’s Gita International Yoga School. Led by curiosity and self-inquiry, she completed post-graduate qualifications in Mindfulness Based Stillness Meditation (MBSM), traditional Yogic Meditation, Progressive Yoga Relaxation and Esoteric Philosophy. Today her teaching reflects her combined formal education, her life experience, her love of yoga and the self-discovery that emerges with this practice.
Today Jacqui offers classes, intensives & weekend yoga retreats in the gentle, quiet space at Over the Moon Yoga and Dance Studios, in Castlemaine, central Victoria. She frequently shares Mindfulness Meditation programs in corporate environments in both Melbourne and Sydney. Rejuventating Yoga retreats in Bali are also offered.
Amy McDonald has been a student of Yoga for the past 30 years. She started teaching in 2009 and continues to work with her teacher – Noah Maze – to improve how she shares and facilitates her strong, smart and sweaty alignment-based Yoga classes. Growing up with The Hollands! and touring full time, Graciana was given the opportunity to explore new cultures and traditions, traveling throughout the USA, Canada, SE Asia and Australia.
She is an accomplished songwriter and composer and plays guitar, ukulele, and piano but her voice is the stand out.
With a delicate delivery, Graciana keeps listeners on the edge of their seats wanting to hear more.
Terrie’s yoga journey has seen her practicing through a wide variety of yoga styles, from crowded Vinyasa classes in Bali and Thailand to ‘one on one’ Guru and student, Hatha practice and study in Cambodia.
From here, Terrie decided that it was time to deepen her practice and so completed her 200 YTT through Vitality Yoga Bendigo in 2016. Added to this, Terrie has gained certificates in Vinyasa flow with Vanessa Rudge of Being Yoga, Yoga Therapy for Kids with Zenergy Yoga and studies in Mindfulness in the Classroom. These last two trainings help support Terrie in her work as a senior teacher of History and Sociology and Girton Grammar School Bendigo.
Terrie currently teaches yoga to sports people at the Athletics track in Retreat Rd Bendigo and has, in her own words “the honour” of teaching yoga to students at Girton Grammar School: “Making connections with students and helping to support their studies by including the practices of yoga is an honour and a gift”.

Denise studied sound therapy in France, United States, United Kingdom and Australia with Chris James, Fabien Maman, Tom Kenyon and Joachim Marz. Since 1998 she has facilitated Power of Sound workshops in Victoria and Tasmania and tutored at Adult Education in Tasmania from 2007 to 2010.
Denise returned to Melbourne in 2013 and has been conducting crystal bowl and vocal toning workshops and live performances including the Mind Body Spirit Festival in 2013, 2014 & 2016 and various psychic festivals across Victoria. Denise also conducts individual sessions including monochord sound table, guided imagery and soul coaching.
Denise has released a CD entitled Resonant Sounds, which will be available at the festival.
